Power Factors Launches Executive Advisory Board

Renewable industry experts selected to partner with and advise the Power Factors team in efforts to lead the renewable energy transition

SAN FRANCISCO, California, August 11, 2022 – After several strategic acquisitions and through identifying opportunities to support its mission to enable a sustainable world powered by renewable energy, San Francisco -based Power Factors is poised to become the world’s largest renewable energy software and solutions provider.

Understanding the importance of developing future-ready solutions to support changing landscapes and transformations rapidly occurring across the energy sector, Power Factors is pleased to announce the launch of its Executive Advisory Board.

Combining recognized and accomplished experts carefully selected from across the renewable and traditional energy sectors, the newly formed Executive Advisory Board will work closely with Power Factors' Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team, offering guidance and thought leadership on decisions in pursuit of its mission.

The Board's cornerstone members include Juan Araluce and Kevin Devlin, with a combined 70 years of energy industry experience and leadership. 

Juan Araluce has contributed to the energy sector in multiple critical roles over 35 years, including two decades at BP before transitioning to Vestas Wind Systems in 2007, where he served as CSO and EVP. In June 2021, Mr. Araluce became the Founder and Chairman of Black Swan Investments. 

Kevin Devlin served as Senior Vice President at Pattern Energy Group and is also a 35-year veteran of the energy industry, having held numerous global leadership roles with Iberdrola, Scottish Power, Pattern, and ExxonMobil. Mr. Devlin is also a Non-Executive Director of Renewable Power Capital, and a Senior Advisor to Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Until recently, he was a member of the Investment Advisory Committee for NTR PLC.

In addition to their wealth of experience, both Mr. Devlin and Mr. Araluce share a passion for renewable energy solutions, as well as supporting and enabling the energy transition.
