Successful UNITY platform Integration for 1.5GW portfolio in Australia

Inaccess has passed the 1.5 GW milestone of solar capacity monitored and controlled by UNITY SCADA and CMS in Australia. This capacity is split among ten assets ranging from 33MWp to 480 MWp that are owned by various global IPPs and integrated solar power companies. With a pipeline of around one GW energizing in the next months, Inaccess will have a significant market share in the country’s utility-scale segment, contributing to the Australian energy market’s transition towards a low carbon economy.

All these assets are interfaced to the market and grid operators with their outputs continuously managed by real-time dispatch instructions decoding from UNITY Cloud Dispatcher for Active Power curtailment and Reactive Power compensation.

For several of these assets, there are plans to add large Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to take advantage of the flexible market prices and optimize their revenue streams. UNITY is a key part of this revenue optimization process allowing the efficient integration of the asset in the dynamic energy market, while at the same time providing detailed analysis and reports to the Owner and the rest of the stakeholders.
